Air Backup
To avoid losing important data, it is necessary to back up your device periodically. Now, AnyTrans Air Backup feature provides you with the best way to backup your iOS device. It will backup your device within Wi-Fi or when you connect device to computer. At the same time, you can choose the path to store the backups and view the histories of your backups. Please refer to the following guide to make good use of AnyTrans.

Step 1. Preparations.
Do as following:
- Launch AnyTrans on your computer
- Connect iOS device to computer with the USB cable
- Click Device Manager option & Backup Manager option
If it is the first time that you have used Air Backup function, please connect device with computer via USB cable. And then please click “Trust This computer” option on your device to enable this function. Once your device is detected, you will see the interface below.

If AnyTrans fails to recognize your iOS device, please follow these troubleshooting steps to solve the issue.
Step 2: Settings.
Do as following:
- Click “Air Backup Automatically” option
- Connect your device and computer to the same WiFi
If the Air Backup option cannot be opened, it is because that you have not enabled “Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi” option in iTunes. Please make sure you enable the “WiFi sync option” in iTunes.

It provides two ways to let your iOS device and computer work with the same Wi-Fi. One is to connect iOS device and computer to the same WLAN. The other is to connect iOS device and computer to the same Wi-Fi hotspot.

2. To turn on Wi-Fi hotspot on you computer, provides you with the detailed instructions.
And you can also set up Air Backup Preference, Schedule Air Backup frequency (from one day to a month) and Enable Password Protection (Protect your data safety and privacy) based on your need. Moreover, you can click “Forget Device” to remove the device from Air Backup history. Once the device is being forgotten, AnyTrans will not back up it anymore.

Step 3: Backup.
Do as following:
- Disconnect your iOS device with computer
- Back up device data
- View Backup History
Once your iOS device and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi, AnyTrans will back up your device automatically. The time to back up device varies based on the size of data. Please keep patient.

Once the backing up process completes, a message will pop up on the right corner of computer screen like the interface below. Please click “Backup History” option to view the details of the backup, like the date, size, etc.
