Full Backup
An unexpected event, like iOS upgrade, file corruption, or hardware damage, could erase some important data from your iOS device. Thus, backing up device periodically becomes an essential part of iOS device usage routine. With AnyTrans, you are able to back up all device data with few clicks. Please refer to the following guide to make good use of AnyTrans.
Step 1: Preparations.
Do as following:
- Launch AnyTrans on your computer
- Connect iOS device to computer with the USB cable
By default, AnyTrans will detect your iOS device automatically. If you don’t connect iOS device to computer or your iOS device is not recognized, the interface below will display.

Once your iOS device is recognized, the interface below will display.

If AnyTrans fails to recognize your iOS device, please follow these troubleshooting steps to solve the issue.
Step 2: Backup.
Do as following:
- Click Device Manager & Backup Manager option
- Select Full Backup option and click
button
Once you click Full Backup option, the interface below will display. To protect your data safe and private, you can check the “Enable Password Protection” option and set the password. If you do not want to encrypt the backup, please ignore it and click button directly.

After you click button, the back up process will be started automatically. It may take some time to complete the back up process based on the amount of data on device. Please keep patient.

Step 3: Backup Management.
Do as following:
- Wait for the backup process
- Click
option
After the backup process completes, the interface “Backup Completed” below will display. You can also check the size of the Full Backup. If you want to check the detail, please click option.
