USB drive is a tool we often use to copy a file, like music, video, Microsoft Word/Excel/PPT file from home to school or office. But with AnyTrans, you can complete the task with your iOS devices. AnyTrans helps to import a file from computer, export files to computer and edit the file as you need. Please refer to the detailed guide to make good use of AnyTrans.
Step 1: Preparations.
Do as following:
- Launch AnyTrans on your computer
- Connect iOS device to computer with the USB cable
By default, AnyTrans will detect your iOS device automatically. If you don’t connect your iOS device or your iOS device isn’t recognized, you will see “Please plug-in your iPhone, iPad or iPod, start your journey” interface.

Once your iOS device is recognized, the interface below will display.

If AnyTrans fails to recognize your iOS device, you may try these troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.
Step 2: Selection.
Do as following:
- Click the
button to manage files by category - Click the File System option
- Choose Storage option
Once you unfold the File System, you will see the Storage option. Please simply click on the icon to get ready for the file management.

Step 3: Transfer.
Do as following:
- Choose a folder or a file you want to transfer
- Click
button (To Computer) - Select the save path on computer
Except for transferring folders or files to computer, you can also add files/folders from computer by clicking 
button. And you can delete unwanted folders/files by clicking 
button. To edit the file name, please click 
button. If AnyTrans doesn’t load your files correctly, please refresh the page by click 
button.

If you want to selectively choose your desired folders/files, you can constantly press the Shift key (for Mac) or Ctrl key (for Windows) on keyboard to make it.
Once the transferring process is completed, you will see Transferring Complete Page. To locate exported folders/files on computer, please click “view files”. To go back to previous page, please click “transfer more items” button.
