How to Clean Duplicate Files
It's pretty tricky to tell how many duplicate files on your Mac with the Finder's search option. MacClean gives you one-stop solution to find all your identical files and folders, so that you can choose which of them are wasting your disk and remove them with few clicks.
Step 1: Open MacClean to get started.
Please first open your MacClean > Click "Utilities" on the top > Choose "Duplicates Finder" option:
Step 2: Choose Folders to Check Duplicates
For regularly checking the duplicate files, you can choose the Default Folders > Tick the folder you want to scan > click Scan Files:
You can also choose the Custom Folder by manually dragging or adding any folder from you Mac into the following area:
Step 3: Pre-check Files and Start the Removing
After scanning, MacClean lists the duplicated files that are potentially safe to remove. In the left side, MacClean classified the files with different categories. You can tick the file manually in the lower right corner or click "Auto Select" to select automatically.
After pre-checking finishes, you can click Remove button to clean files you choose.
Step 4: Finish Removing and Share the Result
After removing duplicate files, you can share MacClean with your friends if you find this feature is good to use.
