How to Clear Internet Junk Files

Built in with the advanced scanning engine, MacClean covers probably all browsers' junk files, including Internet Cache Files, Internet Cookies Files, Web Browsing Histories, Web Download Histories, Browsing Sessions and Site Preferences. They may take up a variety of disk space on your Mac, threaten your privacy safety, and even make your browsers become slower. To let your browsers work faster, safer and more smoothly, you just need to take the following guide to clean up the Internet junk files.

Step 1: Choose Internet Junk to Start Scan

Launch MacClean > Click on the grey switch to select Internet Junk > Click the Start Scan button to start:

During this process, you can quit scanning the Internet Junk via clicking Stop Scan on the bottom of MacClean. You can also skip scanning perticular junks by clicking Skip button.

Step 2: Pre-Check the Internet Junks

To view the summary of the found junk files, you can click the following area, and the results for each piece of Internet junk file will be listed up:

To delete/keep all items, you can simply click Check All/Uncheck All option (you can also tick any single item). After pre-checking the selected junks, you can click the panel on the left side to return to clean page:

Step 3: Start Cleaning Internet Junks

After pre-checking is done, you can click Clean Now to start cleaning the Internet junks, or you can click Start Over to quit the cleaning and get back to the homepage:
