How to Sweep System Junk Files

The system junks generally include system cache files and system log files, which would be redundant and useless after a long term of use. If your Mac takes longer time than usual to start up, maybe it has kept too many outdated caches, which will result in the slower Mac performance, or even make your Mac run abnormally. MacClean gives a big hand here. Simply follow the following tutorial to speed up your Mac with safely and quickly.

Step 1: Choose System Junk to Start Scan

Firstly start MacClean > Click on the grey switch to choose System Junk > Click the Start Clean button to start scanning the system junk files:

During this process, you can quit scanning the System Junk via clicking Stop Scan on the bottom of MacClean. You can also skip scanning perticular junks by clicking Skip button.

Step 2: Pre-Check the System Junk Files

Once the scanning is done, MacClean will give a summary for the found system junk files. By clicking the following area, you'll get a list of results for each piece of junks:

To delete/keep all items, you can simply click Check All/Uncheck All option (you can also tick any single item). After pre-checking the selected junks, you can click the panel on the left side to return to clean page:

Step 3: Start Clean

After pre-checking is done, you can click Clean Now to start cleaning the system junks, or you can click Start Over to quit the cleaning and get back to the homepage:
