There have been a number of iOS7 mistakes reported in the user interface (UI) that show some sloppy workmanship by Apple.
I’m not showing these because I hate Apple. I don’t. I love their products and I really want them to be the best they can be. However if there are problems I want to be honest about them so that Apple can sort them out.
So this hasn’t been written because I have a vendetta, or an axe to grind. It’s not about making Apple look stupid. I’m just trying to get things fixed so Apple can stay where they belong – at the forefront of design and usability.
And before anyone posts a comment saying that other smartphones suffer similar issues too – I know. I want my iPhone to be better than those, not the same. After all that is what Steve Jobs always tried to do.
On to the iOS 7 mistakes…
I have already written an article on the inconsistency between apps on iOS 7 and this image illustrates it perfectly.
Another inconsistency in iOS 7, this time with the use of color.
You will find many more examples of these, and other mistakes over at Sloppy UI.
