How to Turn on the Dark Mode on Mac OS X Using Command Keys

How to Turn on The Dark Mode on Mac Using Command Keys

Step 1. Make sure that you have saved all the documents in other apps and close other apps.

Step 2. Open Terminal from "Applications > Utilities (or by using Spotlight to search for it)".

Step 3. Type the below words:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist _HIEnableThemeSwitchHotKey -bool true

Step 4. Press Return to activate the command. Because you have typed a "Sudo" command, OS X will ask you to enter your administrator password. Enter it and hit return.

Step 5. Quit the Terminal app.

Step 6. Restart Mac.

Step 7. Use the keyboard shortcut Control+Option+Command+T, and the Dark Mode will be enabled.
