If your device isn't using iOS 7, you can now upgrade it from iOS 6 to iOS 7.

Step 1. Connect your iOS devices that you want to stream and other AirPlay compatible device, like Apple TV, AirPlay-enabled speakers or receivers to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2. Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone or iPad screen to access Control Center, tap AirPlay and turn on the AirPlay feature on your iPhone or iPad.

And two compatible devices will automatically establish a wireless connection. Once the connection is finished, you'll see an AirPlay icon appear within compatible apps, such as music, videos, photos.
Step 3. Tap the name of the device you want to AirPlay to. And next to each AirPlay device will show the type of media content that you can stream.
