How to Make iPhoto Work Again in OS X Yosemite

Step 1. Click iPhoto, and then you will see the error message.

Step 2. Click on "Search App Store", and App Store will open on Mac.

Step 3. When the App Store opens you will get a message that says "Item Not Available". This is an issue we will show you how to solve.

Step 4. Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner and select "App Store".

Step 5.Click on the "Purchases" tab of the Mac App Store and locate "iPhoto".

Step 6. Click on the "Update" button next to iPhoto and wait for the app to be updated.
